Welcome to R.H.L Boudoir, where empowerment meets artistry, and every client is celebrated in their most authentic and beautiful form. My journey to creating this unique boudoir experience has been a decade in the making, and I'm thrilled to share the story behind R.H.L Boudoir with you.
A Decade Behind the Camera
My passion for photography started over ten years ago. From the moment I picked up a camera, I was captivated by the power of capturing raw, intimate moments. Over the years, I honed my craft, developing a keen eye for detail and an ability to bring out the best in my subjects. Photography became more than just a hobby; it became my way of helping people see their true selves through a different lens.
Stepping into the Spotlight
While I was mastering the art of photography, I also spent five years in front of the camera, modeling lingerie and clothing. This experience was invaluable, giving me insight into how to make my clients feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful during their sessions. Understanding both sides of the camera has allowed me to create a boudoir experience that is both empowering and transformative.
Out of the Comfort Zone: The Bridal Expo
In 2023, I attended a bridal expo that truly pushed me out of my comfort zone. This event was a game-changer, as it opened my eyes to the vast potential of boudoir photography within the bridal community. The excitement and enthusiasm from brides-to-be about capturing intimate, personal moments sparked a new wave of inspiration and creativity within me.
The First Self-Care Retreat
In May 2024, I hosted my first ever Self-Care Retreat. This entire weekend was filled with laughter, makeovers, facials with Kayla Baker at The Meadow Salon and Spa, boudoir sessions, and amazing food. It was a transformative experience for everyone involved, fostering connections and self-love in a way I had always envisioned. Seeing the joy and confidence that blossomed from this retreat reaffirmed my mission and passion for what I do.
Looking Ahead: T!ts & Tats Event
As we move into the latter part of 2024, I'm excited to announce the upcoming T!ts & Tats Event in September. Partnering with the incredible Crystal Howell, this event promises to be a celebration of new faces, new friends, gorgeous photos, and brand-new tattoos to show off. It's another step in our journey to create unforgettable experiences and empower individuals through the art of boudoir photography.
