Lie #1: You Have to Be a Certain Size to Be Sexy
Nope. Hard pass. Every body is a boudoir body. I've photographed women from size 2 to size 24+, and let me tell you—confidence has zero correlation with clothing tags. You don’t need to shrink yourself to be seen.
Lie #2: Cellulite, Stretch Marks, and Rolls Should Be Hidden
Spoiler alert: 98% of women have some combo of those three. They’re normal. And they’re not flaws. In fact, some of the most jaw-dropping images I’ve ever captured were of women embracing those textures like they were part of their art.
Lie #3: You’re Too Old for This
Absolutely not. Age does not disqualify you from feeling sexy. If anything, it’s the opposite. You’ve lived, you’ve learned, and you’ve earned the right to take up space and feel fire doing it. I’ve photographed women in their 20s and women in their 60s—every single one stunning in her own right.
Lie #4: Boudoir Is Just for Your Partner
Nope again. Boudoir can be a gift for them, sure—but it should start as a gift to yourself. You’re allowed to feel beautiful just because you want to. You’re allowed to do things that make you feel powerful, sexy, soft, bold… whatever you crave.
